IMG_4496FullSizeRender-1Probiotics are an important part in creating a healthy gut and overall health. By contributing to the healthy bacteria in your gut and eliminating the bad bacteria, probiotics help balance your digestive system and can help reduce digestive issues. Probiotics have helped heal my digestive issues significantly and should be a part of every healthy diet. By adding coconut kefir and chia seeds with added probiotics, you can ensure you are getting healthy bacteria that will contribute to a healthy gut.

Just two tablespoons of coconut kefir contain 300 billion colony-forming units of probiotic bacteria and over 50 active strains. Chia seeds with added probiotics also contain 2 active strains and 4 billion live probiotics. Additionally, the chia seeds contain added protein and healthy fats.

This smoothie is perfect for a simple breakfast or healthy snack. The coconut kefir adds a slight tartness while the sweetness of the cherries and banana add balance.
